About me

My name is Merle LeDuc, I was born in Hamburg, Germany, and moved to the United States at the age of 19. I’m grateful for a loving family—my husband, three grown sons who make me so very proud, and two Miniature Schnauzers who bring joy (and a little chaos 🐶 🐾) to our home. I cherish time with family and friends, love exploring the world through travel, enjoy the thrill of soccer, and find joy in expressing myself through art.

I am a passionate educator with 17 years of experience teaching in Prince William County Public Schools. Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. I take pride in building meaningful connections with my students and colleagues, fostering collaboration, and inspiring a love of learning.

Professional Experience

• 3rd Grade Teacher and Team Lead
  I have loved working as a 3rd-grade teacher, where I’ve had the opportunity to lead a talented team of educators. Together, we’ve developed creative and effective strategies to support our students and help them succeed.

• English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher, Grades K-5
  Supporting multilingual learners has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. Helping students find their voice and confidence in a new language is a privilege I cherish every day.
